NNE HQ​

NNE is an international company specialised in pharma engineering

In 2018, NNE was moving its headquarters into a former tobacco factory in Virum, north of Copenhagen. They seized the opportunity and used the relocation project as a chance to reassess workspace needs, to evaluate current ways of working and to position interdisciplinary project execution at the core of all activities.

The vision for the new HQ project was derived from NNE’s strategy and values and translated into clear design drivers and success criteria. Top management’s active engagement in this process confirmed the new HQ as a manifestation of NNE’s ambition to be a best-in-class knowledge-sharing company, thus paving the way for a good reception of the new ways of working that were introduced.

An activity-based workplace concept was created to support project work and interdisciplinary collaboration and creativity, to offer room and tranquility for focused work, and last but not least, to promote unexpected encounters, socializing and well-being.

Design solutions were developed through extensive user involvement, prototyped and tested, before implementation in the final project.

The project was prepared during employment in NNE.
